Louis Kroon II associated with Berluti & McLaughlin in 2002, focusing his practice on those areas of the law that directly impact closely-held businesses and their owners. Mr. Kroon provides advice to entrepreneurs regarding the formation, operation and dissolution of business entities. With extensive experience forming business entities, facilitating real estate acquisitions and dispositions, formulating business succession and estate plans, and resolving client tax disputes, he understands the gambit of legal issues that may challenge the closely-held business owner. Based on that experience, he analyzes client needs and provides sound, practical legal advice designed to meet those challenges, facilitate solutions and accomplish client goals.

Mr. Kroon is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, as well as in the States of Florida and Michigan. He is also affiliated with the Massachusetts Bar Association.

Mr. Kroon received his Masters in Laws in taxation from Boston University in 2005 after receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law in 1998. Mr. Kroon also matriculated Walsh College in 1995 with his Masters of Science in management and received his Bachelor of Science in business from Indiana University in 1992.

Mr. Kroon is a third generation resident of the City of Melrose where he lives with his wife and two Daughters.
