We are currently seeking a dynamic Business/Corporate attorney for a partnership-track associate position. In this position, you will act as general counsel for small and medium sized businesses, assisting them in all facets of their business, from startup to sale and everything in between. You will help them to grow and thrive, handling everything from contract drafting to trademark/intellectual property issues to real estate transactions to corporate governance policies. Representative clients include research and development companies; doctors, dentists and orthodontists; a fuel delivery company; a specialty dry cleaning chain; a regional chain of retail stores; a manufacturer of custom windows and doors, electrical and other contractors; a national real estate brokerage firm; real estate developers; entrepreneurs and philanthropists.   The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

· 3-5 years of experience in the business/corporate field (Experience representing closely held businesses in various transactions a plus)
· Superior written and oral communication skills
· Keen interpersonal skills
· Strong negotiation skills
· Ability to work independently
· Desire to grow your practice within our group
· Member of the Massachusetts Bar
