Rebecca Sipowicz joined the civil litigation group at Berluti & McLaughlin LLC in 2008 after practicing for approximately seven years at another Boston law firm.  Ms. Sipowicz is experienced in representing clients in complex business disputes, as well as in antitrust, real estate and zoning, construction, bankruptcy, employment and defamation litigation matters.  She has experience trying cases in the Massachusetts Superior Courts and United States District Court and has represented clients in alternative dispute resolution forums such as AAA arbitration and mediation.  Ms. Sipowicz has been published in the antitrust area of law, most recently analyzing the United States Supreme Court’s approach to allowing domestic discovery to aid foreign antitrust proceedings in the Fall 2004 ABA Antitrust Journal. 

 Attorney Sipowicz is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is admitted to practice as well in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.  She is also a member of the Boston Bar Association.

 Ms. Sipowicz received a juris doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 2001 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Virginia in 1998. 

 Ms. Sipowicz resides with her husband in Hopkinton, Massachusetts.
