David Valente, an associate at Berluti & McLaughlin, concentrates in estate planning, asset protection planning, wealth management, probate and tax planning for individuals, families and small businesses. David provides holistic advice by integrating legal, financial and tax strategies into a single, cohesive plan which reflects the client’s goals. In turn, this empowers clients to make informed, prudent decisions.

Prior to coming to Berluti & McLaughlin, David worked as an estate planning attorney, focusing on estate tax reduction and asset protection strategies. David holds the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) designation, having advised families for over eight years at a downtown wealth management firm on stock option planning, retirement planning, investment portfolio management, insurance analysis, charitable bequests and income tax reduction strategies.

Mr. Valente is a graduate of Boston College & received a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Estate Planning Council, Trust & Estates Consortium & the Justinian Law Society. He is a weekly volunteer at a local animal shelter, is a USKBA-licensed full contact kickboxer & submission fighter and resides in Weymouth, MA.
